Central Provincial Deputy Administrator for Social Service and Economics, Edward Kila said the burial was delayed due to weather conditions.

He however, says the final leg of the district program will depend on advice from the Funeral Home.

The decision to lay to rest the late MP follows an understanding reached between the National Executive Council, late Samb’s immediate family and Governor for Central Robert Agarobe.

Mr. Kila said bad weather affected the transportation of over 1.8 million tonnes of materials, which delayed the construction of the tomb.

He confirmed the late Mr Samb’s casket is expected to visit Guaraimaipa in the Guari LLG, before it overnights at Tapini Station during the Easter long weekend.

The body will then be taken to Ononge at Woitape LLG to prepare for his final burial and resting place at Kambisie on Easter Monday.
